Some random thoughts that encouraged me when I was down:

The Lord is my Sufficiency & my Abundance;
my Feast & with me in times of famine;
my Adequacy & my Excellence;
my Cup of Salvation & my Fountain of Life;
my Joy and my innermost Delight;
my Hope and Love poured out from on High.
Though the land is barren, the Lord will bear me up.

The accuser likes to isolate God's people = divide & conquer.
The Lord unites His people = love & support.

The accuser likes to scare people silly = doom & gloom.
The Lord gives hope to the weary = light & peace.

The accuser likes to sicken the saints = disease & brokenness.
The Lord loves to strengthen the downtrodden = lifting up with joy.

The accuser likes to scatter the sheep = destruction & ruin.
The Lord laid down His life for us = liberty & safety.

The accuser likes to slaughter the innocent = death & burial.
The Lord has conquered this & removed the sting = life & faith.

Greater is He who reigns in & among & over us,
than the one that prowls in the world.

A friend who read this poem wrote:

Thanks Mert, for this beautiful poetry,

Why don't you submit it to Muslim authorities as an example of a surah better than the Qur'an!

A smile lights my face as I write this suggestion anticipating the laugh it might evoke when you read it. But then again, after a moment's thought, I wondered whether God's Spirit might not lead you to do something like this with a Muslim leader you know.

You penned these words from a heart that weeps for the salvation of
Muslims, aching for those bound by the Devil's devices. (Psalm 126:6) On the other hand, the Lord does laugh at the machinations of the wicked world rulers. (Psalm 2:4) Maybe there is a time for us to have a good laugh too.
