A Stable Boy for the Lord’s Horsemen

Qualification:
Be willing to work hard, smell bad, be ignored. A desire to see freedom & victory win. Willingness to follow orders from the Captain of the Lord of hosts.

Job Duties:
Move lots of manure. Keep the tack ready. Saddle the horses when they are about to go out. Work with the team to open & close the gates at the right time. Feed the horses the right balance of grain, hay. Keep a salt lick available. Protect them from flies by strengthening their immunity. Help in gentling the horses after they have run free. Bathe those ready to rest. Keep blankets for hot horses, worn out after a day’s work.

Pay:
Free pass to the races. Room & board in the King’s barn. When you are ready to retire, you will be welcome in the Lord’s Mansion. He has many, many rooms available.
